Yes, I’d sworn not to blog here until I had put a significant amount of physical distance between myself and those with whom there was tension regarding my transition. As I have enjoyed such distance for almost three years, I believe it is probably all right for me to blog about my transition, whether they can see it or not. Their disapproval has no bearing on how I live my life, and the steps I must take in order to make that life bearable.
